The assignment for me was really challenging it feels like I'm lacking severely in the observation skill set. I had a hard time looking at the head and breaking them down into shapes. I also felt like I had some issue with the placement measuring I felt like it was right but once I started placing thing everything was just so off.

Jose del Teso - Homework - Week 2
Hi again!
Sorry for not posting the whole assignment. Some unexpected family matters came up, so couldn't complete the 25 in time. Besides, to a point, I've noticed how more I need to slow down, take time and think before laying any strokes on the paper. Anyway, starting to feel more confident, and aware, more or less, once I arranged the drawings I had already done, of what I could have changed to get a better likeness.
So, here's what I did.
Cheers!

hw, head construction or any kind of construction is always a nightmare, i tried not to make things skewed but i think i failed at that arghh. Axis and parrellel perspective is always tricky, good grief. I don't have a wacom cintiq only a intous and drawing with an inous is a nightmare hence why it's traditionally drawn. Btw i noticed theirs a perspective axis that sits on the mask that can be extruded out to draw the front plane of the face if that makes Sense. Thanks.
Week 2 Homework
My computer crashed while I was doing this so I lost some of my homework, but thankfully most of it was saved.

H/W
I didn't get them all done this week - I was busy with work and I overestimated how long this was going to take me. I tried to slow down my art, because drawing too fast is probably a huge weakness of mine...
I really need to rewatch the video and take notes on the precise proportions because looking at the image I could see something was 1/2 or 1/4 or so, but I couldn't always figure out in proportion to what.

Jose del Teso - Homework - Week 1
When you think you already know a lot, and then you realize you really don´t! Haha! It´s been tough, but fun. Learned a lot.
Cheers!
Jose
