head and figure drawing i tell ya it's a doozy but i'm really over the moon that you're teaching me!! i couldn't get my hands on the video as i work saturdays i was unable to attend the lesson, how ever i had a crack at it anyways, thanks man! i can also see now that my values are terribly, terribly off.

as I go through the class I am really learning that the mannequin  and adjusting that mask shape is really important

I'm about to turn into a holiday pumpkin ghost, but wanted to at least post my weak attempt this week.

my value groupings man really needs some work and i think some more tlc, i also think i need to start drawing bigger.

Week 3 Homework

Here is just one of the assignments, the Reilly drawover. I did a bunch more draw overs in traditional but I had to place the paper up against my monitor because I had no tracing paper or a printer, so they turned out poorly. I also tried to do a couple from scratch, and they all kind of failed in one way or another :X I need a few more weeks of practice to be honest. This is the only thing I felt comfortable turning in.

So since we had an extra week I decided to do the homework over again because why not.. I really find I have a hard time with subtle angle changes in the head something I

will have to work on.

Homwerkz Week 2

Here's mah week 2 homework. Didn't do very many, and also was way too tempted to finish them (I shouldn't have :P). Been bogged down with work/programming/music so time has been tight and sleep has been minimal. I do feel a bit ashamed as to how bad they are, but I know I'll get better with more focused practice. Will be practicing this properly after the class is over for a couple of months to make sure I get it right.

 These references's I struggled with quite a bit and ended up erasing them.
